Who we are

Momo ("we", "us") is a time-tracking service operated by OSHOOT AG, Industriestrasse 19, 8112 Otelfingen, Switzerland. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@momotime.app.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), organization, role, language.
  • Usage data you enter: time entries, projects, absences, balances, expenses, notes.
  • Billing data: plan and subscription status. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor — we never store them.
  • Technical data: minimal logs needed to run and secure the service.

Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) on DigitalOcean infrastructure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Processors we use

  • DigitalOcean — hosting and storage (EU region).
  • Stripe — subscription payments.
  • Resend — transactional email (invitations, notifications).

Each processes data only on our instructions under a data-processing agreement.

Legal basis & retention

We process personal data to provide the service (contract), to meet legal obligations, and on the basis of legitimate interests in operating and securing Momo. We keep data for as long as your account is active and delete or anonymize it within 90 days after account closure, unless the law requires longer (e.g. accounting records kept up to 10 years under Swiss law).

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. A self-service data export is available in your account settings. To exercise any right, email privacy@momotime.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
